Ed has worked in the sector since 2002, initially at the Institution of Civil Engineers, and latterly with Energywatch, the gas and electricity consumer council. His experience includes analytical roles in energy regulation and strategic development of policy and campaigns. Since studying energy science Ed's specialist area of the market is the emerging low-carbon policy agenda and regulation in the retail market.

For Cornwall Energy, Ed is the vice-chair of the Energy Suppliers Forum and our low-carbon and policy and regulation consultancy work lead. Ed regularly contributes to Energy spectrum and often provides our Energy perspective. He also is also a presenter for some of our public and bespoke training courses.

Ed also attends industry meetings on behalf of Cornwall Energy and has been involved in a number of working groups on a variety of issues including Ofgem's code governance review, the Green Deal, feed-in tariffs and smart meters.
