Bob has over 30 years experience of working in the electricity business, in a wide variety of business roles, mainly in supply and customer related activities, including Head of Settlements and Head of Trading Development in the Supply Business at Norweb for most of the 1990s. He has extensive experience of the 1998 Trading Arrangement and their interaction with Neta.

Bob has also undertaken a number of representation roles on behalf of a range of companies. He has represented Norweb, Northern Electric and Yorkshire Electricity. In addition, he was a member of the National Neta Implementation board after personal invitation from the Programme Director and also a member of the Neta Specials Expert Group.

At present Bob is an elected independent industry member of the CUSC Amendment Panel. Additionally, he is a regular member of key development working groups within both the Balancing and Settlement Code and transmission areas. Bob provides meeting reports on an ad-hoc basis for the sessions he attends.
