Courses

PylonCornwall Energy offers:

  • Public courses available as advertised;
  • alternatively, in-house courses run on-site at your location, at your convenience, drawing on the public courses; and
  • bespoke courses tailored specifically to meet your requirements.

Public courses

Cornwall Energy offers the following public courses:

  • Getting BETTA, our two day guide to the new electricity markets.  More details...
  • Gas markets, our latest two-day workshop, is to be launched early 2010. More details...

These standard courses are supplemented by a range of modules on a comprehensive range of issues, based on the many areas we are asked to cover at industry events.  These include government policy, industry structure and competition, the supply business, renewables policy and the Renewables Obligation.

CPD Accreditation

We are pleased to announce that Cornwall Energy's workshops are now accedited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Feedback from the assessor on our renewables workshop, said "the course was of considerable quality, with excellent coverage, run by experienced trainers with a wealth of knowledge. Overall, for the participant, a sound investment of time and money". The credit value for each course is shown on the course's respective page.

In-house courses

Cornwall Energy offers its public courses and other modules as in-house training. We can also design bespoke courses, tailored to meet the needs of our customers. We come to you - you save on travel and time.

All our courses are supported by a range of up to the moment presentations and supporting material.

"Pick 'n' mix"

You choose which seminars to include from our public and other courses. A day's training consists of typically six one hour segments. Courses may combine seminars from any of our courses listed. Interactive exercises and further training in specialist areas are not listed but can also be provided on request.

Materials

We provide comprehensive course documentation. Each delegate receives a full delegate pack including copies of all presentations, on paper and on memory stick, and relevant reference material. Some courses include case study material and reference material for use as a refresher.
